Officer Rick Neace

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  I grew up in Jackson, MO and served the City there from 1990 to 1996 as a Police Officer.  I accepted a position as Patrolman here in Union in 1996.  My wife, Kristi is the Women's Ministry Director for our church and together we have an organization for peer support for First Responders.  Kristi started Badge of Hope Ministries in late 2009.  I have three children and one grandson.  Chris is a Police Officer in Sullivan, MO, Cameron and his wife are currently training to be missionaries in Papau New Guinea, and Meghan just returned home after graduating a Tech school in Cape Girardeau.  Our grandson, Landon is almost four and has a lot more energy than I do.

I have served in many roles throughout my career.  In the early 1990's I went to local schools and other child related organizations and taught on the dangers of drugs.  This was before DARE was implemented in Jackson.

I am a Firearms Instructor, Major Crash Reconstructionist and have served on the Meth Lab disposal and evidence recovery team.  The last seven years I have served as a Traffic Officer and was promoted to the rank of Corporal in 2010.

I am currently assigned to Central Elementary.
