Students at UHS are learning from Mike Mullin, author of the Ashfall series, about writing and becoming an author. Emily Braun won The BEE at East Central again this year. She is the only repeat winner & has earned a spot at The BEE for the past 4 years. Barrett Sieve and William Glenville with our SRO Officers at the Cops for Kids Can Food Drive. UMS Student of the Month, Braden Watson. Beaufort Elementary 4th grader Jacob Gregory receiving a special recognition award. Members of the UMS Science Olympiad. Sherry, Nick and William Glenville and Andrea, John and Barrett Sieve at the Early Childhood Cops for Kids Can Food Drive. Union High School Key Club collect items for soldiers’ care packages. In total they sent 34 boxes and one large tub to 16 different soldiers. All the soldiers were either children of staff, siblings of students or past graduates of Union High School. Mr. Bryant, Superintendent of schools, Dr. Justin Tarte, Mr. Josh Hall, and members of the WITs (Wildcat Instructional Technologists) team, were recently invited to speak to state legislators in Jefferson City. Kindergarten Enrollment and Screening
Kindergarten enrollment for the upcoming 2014-15 school year will be held January 22nd at both Beaufort and Central Elementary. Kindergarten screenings will be April 4th & 25th at the Early Childhood Center and April 11th at Beaufort. Continue
