The Missouri State High School Activities Association, (MSHSAA), honors teams that achieve success in the classroom as part of their Scholastic Achievement Awards Program.  They have two classifications, distinguished and outstanding.  For a team to be honored as distinguished, they must have a team GPA of 3.0-3.24.  Outstanding recognition must be a team GPA of 3.25-4.0.

The following UHS fall teams qualified for these recognitions:

Outstanding 3.25-4.0

Cross Country        3.53

9th Volleyball          3.85

JV Volleyball           3.40

Varsity Volleyball    3.70

JV/Varsity Softball  3.53

Varsity Soccer         3.45

Marching Band        3.29

Distinguished 3.0-3.24:

JV Soccer                 3.18

Football Cheer         3.14

Congratulations to all of these true student-athletes who not only work hard at their activity, but in the classroom as well.
